(AllHipHop News) Pioneering producer J. Dilla would have turned 42 this year, had it not been for his untimely death, due to complications after a three-year battle with lupus. This year, J. Dilla born James Yancey, is being honored with his own custom “J. Dilla Turntable.” The cool looking piece of technology is an official product of the Estate of James Yancey, and is designed to be portable, but also functions as a stand alone record player. Additionally, the turntable can plug into any stereo system with an RCA jack or USB port. Music can be recorded directly into a computer, using the software package that’s included with the turntable. Along with a full range stereo speakers, Jay Dee’s turntable offers a replacement stylus, along with a 45 adapter.
